This is my go-to for combo lunch/dinner boxes. You get rice and 2 to 3 entrees. Lots of choices. I get steam spareribs, anything with bitter melon, or their beef balls. Today, I got an order of beef rice roll $4. Add bag charge or box charge. Hint of cilantro and water chestnut. Comes with sweet soy sauce, which compliments really well. They always give you a fork and napkins. Love them. Just shove yourself to the dim sum glass to order, and be known to them when ordering. Don't be shy.

They have various of options and big dimsum pieces. The price is reasonable. The service is quite difficult if you dont speak Chinese. The ladies and other Chinese seemed rushing when you tried to figure out the portion of your food. Water cup is $0.25/ cup

There is no shortage of take and go dim sum and hot food places on Stockton Street. The one that's a block south draws lines mainly for their dim sum and buns, not offering any rice plates or stir fry items. This spot is a Swiss Army knife for plate lunches where you can mix and match from their hot foods displayed at the counter, baked goods from their steamers and ovens, and their namesake dim sum. The line when there is one at the door and you slide into empty spaces along the counter as satisfied customers leave. I was here to help a friend pick up a winter favorite Cantonese dish that they provide year-round called tong yuen which literally translates to "soup balls". This is available in savory or sweet versions but the one I sought was the savory one. While packing my purchase, I saw the tofu and ground pork with gravy (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ZASy8XKWyrEqd5uo-X9gaA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) and bought a small container (pint or so) to bring home. I steamed it and paired this along with some leftover rice for a weekend lunch. I added some hot chili sauce from my fridge and enjoyed this variation of ma po tofu. The lady at the counter, due to my numerous visits, recognizes me now and knows my friend's order immediately. Will be back for my friend and hopefully find something else for myself to try and enjoy.

Best take out dim sum in Chinatown. Amazing meat-to-bun ratio. Some places have all buns and not meat the the meat in this one was massive and the bun was moist and flavorful! Inexpensive good quality food. My pork buns were phenomenal.
